Air Filter Cleaning Kit It's a good practice to clean your sport air filter every 10-15 thousand kilometers, depending a lot on the roads you travel. It's a relatively simple operation, requires some precautions but is very doable on your own. Let's see how: Remove the sport air filter from its housing and, holding the dirty part downward, shake the filter to drop any impurities. Take the cleaner and spray generously over the entire surface. Let it act for 10/15 minutes. Rinse the filter under running water without applying pressure. Repeat the operation until you see clean water coming out. Wait for it to dry. Spray the oil spray and reassemble.
