Thermal Adhesive Tapes and Wraps
Thermal wraps are an indispensable product for insulating the exhaust, downpipe, exhaust manifold, and for use wherever very high temperatures are present. By adding insulation to the heated components inside the combustion chamber, we can reduce heat dissipation, thereby allowing the intake of cold, oxygen-rich air through the intake system. Proper thermal insulation of the turbocharger, in addition to reducing thermal emissions in the engine compartment, also has a positive effect on reducing turbo-lag due to the increased energy of the hot exhaust gases.
