Installation

The exhaust tip is installed by sliding it onto the original exhaust pipe and securing it with the side fixing bolts. The mounting system does not necessarily require welding and allows practical installation, suitable for those who want to improve the car’s appearance without permanent modifications to the exhaust system.

Before installation, it is recommended to thoroughly clean the original exhaust pipe, removing rust, dirt and impurities from the contact surface. Once the exhaust tip has been positioned, simply tighten the bolts until a stable and secure fit is achieved.

• Before purchasing, check that the outer diameter of the original exhaust pipe is compatible with the Ø66 mm inlet.

How to install an exhaust tip

Before purchasing the exhaust tip, it is necessary to check:

• the available space in the bumper recess, where present;
• the outlet diameter of the original muffler;

• any need for adaptations depending on the shape of the original exhaust pipe.

For installation:

• loosen the bolts without completely removing them from the thread;
• clean the original exhaust pipe, removing rust and impurities;
• slide the new exhaust tip onto the exhaust pipe;
• tighten the side bolts until correctly secured;
• check that the exhaust tip is stable and correctly aligned.

Alternatively, the exhaust tip can also be fixed using U-bolt exhaust clamps or welded directly, depending on the intended use and the desired level of reversibility.
