The muffler tips are usually the only visible part of an exhaust system and are the final touch to give an exclusive look to your car.
 
The tips Simoni Racing are fixed quickly and easily thanks to the installation with bolts, they are made of stainless steel and are offered in a large variety of shapes, sizes and finishes.

The tips are universal and can be mounted on most of the cars on the market.

1 - Choose the exhaust you prefer

In recent years, the range of Simoni Racing tips has expanded considerably.
In fact, it is possible to choose between several: 

Design:
- Single outlet: it can have a round, oval or rectangular shape, with a straight or slanted cut.
- Double outlet: ideal for creating the effect of a double exhaust pipe. They too can have a round, oval or rectangular outlet with a straight or slanted cut. Some models also have the right and left variant as they are offset (such as TRX/CR and TRX/CL).
Materials and Colors:
- Inox: the tips remain the original color and are resistant to rust and corrosion.
- Inox nero: the tailpipes are completely painted black (matt) and are resistant to rust and corrosion.
- Titanium: the tailpipes remain of the original color except the tip which is characterized by a titanium shade, they are resistant to rust and corrosion.
- Carbon: the tailpipes can be in real carbon or in carbon look and are resistant to rust and corrosion.

2 - How to choose and install the right muffler tip for your car
 
Before buying the muffler tip it is necessary to verify :

• Bumper niche measurements (where present)
• Compare the inlet diameter of the Simoni Racing tip with the outlet diameter of the original muffler where it will be screwed or welded.
• Once the tips has been chosen, just perform a few small operations for simple and fast assembly:

• Loosen the bolts without letting them come out of the thread in order to widen the cylinders which will serve to block and fix the tip on the original muffler.
• Clean and rub the original exhaust with sandpaper in order to eliminate all the rust and impurities.
• Insert new tip on the muffler exhaust pipe and secure it by tightening the bolts provided.

• Fix the tip using the U-shaped muffler brackets (this application is recommended if you want to be able to reassemble the original muffler).
• Weld the tip directly to the muffler.

3 - Does the muffler tip increase the performance?

Replacing or adding an exhaust muffler tip is a very common modification that can be done on any car.
It varies according to expectations and tastes and can have different purposes:
 
-       Aesthetic
-       Sound
-       Increase performance

Usually it is the combination of these three. However, it is necessary to specify that in order to significantly change the sound and performance of the car, a muffler tip is not enough, but are necessary other modifications that can be made to the car (air filter, valve, etc.)
